A report from the People’s Conversation
This report is a response to and reflection on the various ideas, themes and aspirations that emerged during a vibrant and stimulating series of conversations over the past 12 month. In it we have set out a framework for citizen empowerment based on five challenges:
- Increasing participation in public decision making
- Developing and nurturing active citizenship
- Building trust and respect
- Making citizenship global
- Resourcing and empowering citizens
